By downloading, installing, or using mBuddy ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

        Not professional advice. mBuddy provides entertainment-oriented conversations with AI personalities. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or crisis-intervention advice. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
      

1. License

mBuddy is provided free with advertising support. A Premium subscription is available to remove ads. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. AI-Generated Content

All responses in mBuddy are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, fabricated, biased, or inappropriate.
You should not rely on mBuddy's responses for factual accuracy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any safety-critical decision.
AI personas are fictional. Do not treat any AI as a substitute for a licensed professional or real human relationship.

3. Prohibited Uses

Do not use mBuddy to generate content sexually depicting minors.
Do not use mBuddy to attempt self-harm instructions, weapon-making, or illegal-activity facilitation.
Do not attempt to circumvent safety filters.
Do not use the app for harassment, hate speech, or illegal purposes.

4. Subscriptions and Ads

mBuddy ships as free with ads. An optional Premium subscription (via Google Play Billing and RevenueCat) removes ads. No feature gating.

5. Data and Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for details, including disclosure of our LLM provider (Ollama Cloud).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from content generated by the AI — including any harm caused by acting on AI-generated advice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when new features are added. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
