Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using SMS Forwarder ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Purpose

SMS Forwarder lets you configure rules that forward SMS messages received on your own Android phone to a destination you choose. The app is intended for personal automation and legitimate business notification workflows that you control.

2. Your Responsibility

You agree to:

  • Use the app only on a device and phone number you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Forward messages only to destinations you control or have permission to use.
  • Comply with applicable laws, carrier rules, workplace policies, and platform policies.
  • Not use the app to spy on another person, intercept messages without consent, commit fraud, or bypass security controls.
  • Review and protect sensitive messages such as OTPs, banking alerts, passwords, and authorization messages.

3. Permissions

The app may request SMS permissions so it can receive and send SMS on your device. If you deny or revoke these permissions, forwarding will not work. Android system prompts and settings control these permissions.

4. Sensitive Messages

Forwarding OTP, banking, password, or authorization messages can expose accounts to risk. Sensitive-message forwarding is blocked by default. If you enable it, you accept responsibility for the destination and any consequences of forwarding those messages.

5. Carrier Fees and Delivery

Forwarded SMS messages are sent from your phone through your mobile carrier. Your carrier may charge SMS, roaming, or data fees. Delivery can fail due to network conditions, carrier limits, Android battery restrictions, permission changes, or device settings.

6. No Hidden Importing

SMS Forwarder does not import SMS messages from other phones or devices where the app is not installed. It works only with messages received on the Android device running the app.

7. Availability

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted forwarding, delivery, or compatibility with every Android device, carrier, SMS app, battery manager, or system version.

8. Privacy

Data handling is described in the SMS Forwarder Privacy Policy. By using the app, you agree to that policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms when the app, permissions, store requirements, or support process changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
