By downloading, installing, or using AlertBox ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
AlertBox is provided free with advertising support. A Premium subscription is available to remove ads. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Use of the App
- Use the app only for its intended purpose — detection and announcement of payment SMS.
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Do not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app.
- The app is a utility tool and is not a substitute for official bank or payment-provider notifications. Always verify transactions with the underlying bank/UPI app.
3. SMS Permission
AlertBox requires SMS permissions to function. SMS content is parsed locally and never transmitted off-device. You may revoke this permission at any time from Android system settings. Without it, the app's core TTS reading feature will not work.
4. Subscriptions and Ads
AlertBox ships as free-with-ads. An optional Premium subscription (managed via Google Play Billing and RevenueCat) removes ads. Subscription pricing, billing, and cancellation are governed by your Google Play account. No feature gating — the same functionality is available to Free and Premium users.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The developer does not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or detect every payment SMS accurately. Accuracy depends on the SMS format used by individual banks and payment providers, which may change without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed or misinterpreted payment alerts.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when new features are added. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
