FAQ
What is Hotspot Station?
Hotspot Station is a root-only Android launcher that turns a spare 5G phone into an always-on, self-healing Wi-Fi hotspot appliance.
Does it require root?
Yes. Root (Magisk or KernelSU) is required to control the hotspot and cellular radio.
Is Hotspot Station free?
Yes. The APK is a free direct download.
Why is it not on Google Play?
Google Play does not allow apps that require root to control the hotspot radio, so it is distributed only as a direct APK.
What does it do?
It auto-starts the hotspot on boot, restarts it if it drops, refreshes the session hourly, shows a live dashboard and can lock the phone into kiosk mode.
