Privacy Policy

What stays on your Mac

JobBot is a desktop application. Your résumé file, the answers you save to screening questions, the job boards you are signed in to, the browser profiles those sessions live in, and the log of every run are stored in the app's local data folder on your own machine. They are not uploaded to Trei.

What our servers hold

To run a paid subscription we store your email address, your subscription status and its billing period, the payment reference returned by the payment provider, and the identifier of the device your licence is activated on. We do not receive or store your card details - those go directly to the payment provider.

The app also asks our update server which version is current. That request carries the app version and your platform, and nothing about you or your applications.

What we never collect

We do not collect the jobs you apply to, the employers you apply to, your résumé, your answers to screening questions, or your job board credentials. JobBot never asks for a job board password; it uses the sessions already signed in on your machine.

Payment providers

Subscriptions in India are processed by Razorpay, and elsewhere by Dodo Payments. Each receives the information it needs to take payment and is bound by its own privacy policy.

Your choices

Deleting the app's local data folder removes everything JobBot has stored on your machine. To have your subscription record deleted, write to us from the contact page and we will remove it once the subscription has ended and any legally required retention has lapsed.
