Cancellation & Refund Policy

How cancellations and refunds work for Trei services.  ·  Last Updated: July 9, 2026

This policy applies to services purchased from Trei (operated by Anshika Maurya) via trei.dev or a Trei-issued payment link. Because our work is bespoke, professional service delivered over time, refunds are handled fairly against work already performed, as set out below.

1. Cancellation by the client

  • Before work begins: If you cancel within 48 hours of making a payment and before any work has started, you are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid.
  • After work begins: You may cancel an ongoing project at any time by written notice to contact@trei.dev. A refund, if any, will be the amount paid minus the value of work already completed and any third-party costs (domains, hosting, licences, paid tools, ad spend) already incurred on your behalf.
  • Advance / booking fees are non-refundable once design or development work on your project has started, as they reserve capacity and cover initial effort.

2. Non-refundable items

  • Completed and delivered/accepted milestones or projects.
  • Third-party pass-through costs already paid (domain registration, hosting, premium plugins/themes, stock assets, advertising spend, gateway fees).
  • Monthly retainer / maintenance / SEO services for a period already elapsed.
  • Time-and-materials work already performed.

3. How to request a refund

Email contact@trei.dev from your registered email with your invoice/payment reference and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to resolve eligible requests within 7 business days of agreeing the amount.

4. Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment partner Razorpay. Once initiated, it typically takes 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Disputes

We prefer to resolve concerns directly and reasonably. If you are unhappy with a deliverable, contact us first — in most cases a revision within scope resolves the issue. This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable Indian law.
