Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

What JobBot is

JobBot is a macOS application licensed to you on a monthly subscription. It automates job applications on job boards using the sessions you are already signed in to on your own machine. It is currently in alpha: features are incomplete, behaviour may change between builds, and some platforms are supported better than others.

Your responsibility for how you use it

Job boards set their own terms, and most of them discourage or prohibit automated applying. You are responsible for deciding whether to use JobBot on a given platform and for the consequences on your accounts, including restriction or closure of those accounts. You are also responsible for the accuracy of what is sent on your behalf - your résumé, your saved answers, your salary expectations and your notice period. Review them before you run it.

You agree not to use JobBot to submit applications on behalf of anyone other than yourself, to misrepresent your experience, or to apply at a volume intended to overwhelm an employer or a platform.

Licence

A subscription grants one person the right to use JobBot on their own devices for as long as the subscription is active. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the application or its licence keys.

Subscription and payment

JobBot costs ₹999 per month in India, billed through Razorpay, and $50 per month elsewhere, billed through Dodo Payments, exclusive of any taxes that apply where you are. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves access in place until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

No guarantee of outcome

JobBot submits applications. It does not promise interviews, replies, or a job, and the number of applications it can send depends on what the platforms show, what your filters allow, and what each application form requires. Some applications cannot be completed automatically and are handed back to you.

Availability and changes

Job boards change their websites without notice, and a change can stop part of JobBot working until it is updated. We fix these as quickly as we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change these terms or the price; material changes will be notified before they take effect for your next renewal.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Trei's liability arising out of your use of JobBot is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
